Our red Carolina Reaper peppers, currently tops in as the world's hottest pepper.
For the grow geeks: Start indoor germination of this ghost pepper/habanero hybrid approx 6 weeks before outdoor planting. Germination can take a few weeks so be patient with this one. Whether in the ground or a large container this plant grows to 4 or 5 feet tall. When the peppers turn completely red they are fully ripe. These pepper seed packs contain 10 seeds from our latest harvest. We perform germination testing on all seeds. We also use no pesticides and no synthetic fertilize.
For the foodies: Despite being painfully hot this pepper also has great flavor and can be added to your homemade sauces and marinades to level up the heat. The key is to use it sparingly and gradually increase to ensure that you don't accidentally make a dish that is too hot for you and your friends.
For the drinkers: Dry your peppers and grind or muddle a quarter of a live pepper into your margarita mixing. Serve on the rocks with a lime salt and bask in the yummyness.
