For the grow geeks: These pepper plants grow to over 2.5 ft tall and produce smaller pods than other bhut jolokia varieties. Some chilies may start off deep purple and or green and change colors, sometimes ending up red. There seed packs contain 10 seeds from our latest harvest. We perform germination testing on all seeds. We also use no pesticides and no synthetic fertilize.
For the foodies: Intensely hot but also sweet, the purple ghost pepper is a robust addition to a hot sauce, salsa or in small doses to raise that heat dial on any of your standard dishes.
